1. Legal Compliance

These Terms of Use are an electronic record in terms of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000.

By accessing Placia, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access our services. Placia reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notification.

2. Account Types

Fresher Profiles

Designed for individual students and job seekers. Profiles must represent unique natural persons. Verification is required via valid educational or government credentials.

Agency Accounts

For recruiting firms, educational institutions, or corporate entities. Requires official business registration and domain-validated email addresses.

3. OTP Authentication & Security

Placia employs a mandatory One-Time Password (OTP) authentication system for all login and high-sensitivity actions. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their registered mobile numbers and email addresses.

  • OTP delivery is subject to network availability and carrier restrictions.
  • Three consecutive failed OTP attempts will temporarily lock the account for 30 minutes.

4. Agency Domain Mandates

"To ensure ecosystem integrity, all Agency accounts MUST register using a custom corporate domain email address (e.g., name@company.com). Registrations via generic providers (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) are strictly prohibited for Agency status."

5. Duplicate Profile Prevention

Placia operates a strict "One User, One Account" policy. Our system performs automated multi-point checks to prevent fraudulent or duplicate entries.

6. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
